Senior Competitors

  1. Black Gold Senior Elite-12 AB/NT/NU
    SP: Cry Me a River - cover by Tommee Profitt
    FP: Mirage - music from The Beginning by Mika (from Zodi et Tehu soundtrack), Prologue by Woodkid and Starvation by Thomas Bergersen. This program is about the journey of a group of warriors leaving home to find water and provide a better future for their families. In the end, they realize the water they travelled for was only a mirage.

  2. Nova Senior QC
    SP: Keeping me alive - Jonathan Roy. This program is about a person who walks away from a difficult and toxic relationship, after realizing the importance of their own self-worth.
    FP: Over-Thinker; In a world filled with constant information and pressure, overthinking has become an all-too-common challenge, leading to doubt, anxiety, and hesitation, while preventing finding clarity in our decisions. In the end, a positive mindset prevails; "no amount of anxiety makes any difference to anything that is going to happen"

  3. NEXXICE Senior ON
    SP: Asturias. This program combines traditional flamenco intensity with the passion of what this team has called their "dance of flames"
    FP: Amongst the Stars. This program portrays the vastness and mystery of the universe, as well as the hope and ambition of the stars. It is a musical journey that brings you into the weightless and endless wonder of space to find infinite possibility.

  4. Les Suprêmes Senior QC
    SP: La Bohème. Lost in the beauty of youth and dreams, where love and art intertwine - La Bohème reminds us that even in struggle, there is poetry in life.
    FP: Human. Life is a journey of ups and downs, where we try to find equilibrium between the angel and the devil who inhabit us all. Balance is found in the discovery of our light and dark sides, which brig us the strength and force to overcome our biggest challenges.

 

Junior Competitors

  1. Lower Mainland Junior BC/YK
    SP: Lonely; a tribute to anyone struggling with mental health, and feeling alone.
    FP: Dracula. 

  2. Golding Ice Junior QC
    SP: Playing with Fire; This program is inspired by the heat of flames, and will explore the delicate border between control and chaos; the beauty of fire on one hand, and the thrill and uncertainty of risks on the other.
    FP: Growth; Their free program is an invitation to embrace change, evolution, and transformation. They call this program, Celebration of the Butterfly.

  3. Gold Ice Junior ON
    SP: Lotus Flower: When we come alive by Ruelle. This program is inspired by the resilience of the beautiful lotus flower that grows in muddy waters and incredibly harsh conditions, but never fails to bloom each morning. Like the lotus flower, we too can endure hardship and overcome adversity in order to create something beautiful.
    FP: Poison Ivy. This program tells the tale of Poison Ivy; a scorned lover and super villain from the Batman comics, who seeks revenge and whose super power is making people fall in love with her.

  4. ICE Ignite Junior ON
    SP: Sign of the Times by Harry Styles
    FP: Various Tangos

  5. Nova Junior QC
    SP: La Derniere danse. 
    FP: Mr. Sandman. This program is inspired by the Sandman; a mythical character in European folklore who puts people to sleep and encourages and inspires beautiful dreams by sprinkling magical sand onto their eyes. 

  6. NEXXICE Junior ON
    SP: Bella Ciao. From the series Money Heist, this program combines femininity and power, to a song full of character.
    FP: The Takeover. This program takes the audience on a journey of ultimate conquest. After the initial breaching of the gate, they work to capture the enemy, and ultimately, rise to power and restore harmony.

  7. Les Suprêmes Junior QC
    SP:  The music is from an animated movie (Addams family) and their program will channel the energy of the intimidating Morticia
    FP: Wake up World. This program is Earth's call for humanity to wake up, take care of your bodies, your environment, and your life. The music signifies an earthquake at the beginning, which creates a tsunami of change.
