About the Camp

For the first time, OneTeamMVMT is hosting an online development camp. Typically our camps bring skaters and coaches together over the course of a 3-day weekend, to learn on-ice from world-renowned synchro coaches, and off-ice from esteemed instructors in related disciplines such as yoga, dance, theatre, nutrition, sport psychology, and others.
.
There are a few key differences between a typical OTMcamp, and our online version. In this online version, we will be bringing the "best of" off-ice classes, to living rooms around the world. Since our local ice rinks are closed, we want to help athletes continue to develop through complimentary off-ice training, so that you can return to the ice a stronger than you left it.
.
Another difference will be the format; instead of a 3-day, condensed camp, we will be spreading camp days out over the course of a month. Camp Days will be held every Saturday for 4 consecutive weeks. For those unable to join due to timezone differences, you will be able to access the videos for 24 hours after we post them. In between camp days, there will be optional challenges posted on our private, campers-only Facebook page, to keep campers busy all month long!
.
The final difference is the price. Although we are a non-profit organization, there are costs to running synchronized skating camps, whether in-person or online. Nonetheless, we felt it was important to support our community at this time, with something that was free and available to all, so we are proud to offer this camp free-of-charge. If you wish to contribute to this project to support our organization and the instructors who are giving their time to teach at our camp, you can click on the button below, which would be much appreciated. We understand that we are living in unprecedented times, so please join the camp regardless of what you can or cannot give!

.
In between Camp Days, our Team Captains (senior skaters who have been leaders at our previous camps) will be keeping you motivated with fun optional challenges.
.

Who Can Participate?

While our normal development camps are built for synchronized skaters and coaches, this online camp is open to all figure skaters, including ice dancers, pair skaters, and solo skaters. All sessions will be taught with synchronized skating in mind, but the principles being taught in each class, apply to figure skating as a whole sport. As a result, we hope to see athletes coming together from various disciplines, and uniting as One Team!
All participants must review and accept the terms of our Health Disclaimer found here!
